WINNIPEG \u2014 Jesper Wallstedt<\/a> stopped 32 shots to lead the Minnesota Wild<\/a> to a 3-0 triumph over the Winnipeg Jets<\/a> on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Wallstedt improved to 8-0-2 this season for Minnesota (12-7-4).<\/p>\n

Kirill Kaprizov<\/a>, Brock Faber<\/a> and Denis Yurov scored for the Wild, who\u2019re undefeated in their last eight games.<\/p>\n

Eric Comrie<\/a> made 26 saves for Winnipeg (12-9-0) before 14,368 fans at Canada Life Centre.<\/p>\n

Winnipeg finished its three-game homestand with a 1-2 record.<\/p>\n

Kaprizov cemented the win when he beat Comrie over the shoulder from close in, converting a pass from Mats Zucarello to give Minnesota a 3-0 lead at 6:29 of the third period. Kaprizov extended his points streak to five games.<\/p>\n

Minnesota made it 2-0 while killing a penalty late in the middle period. After a Jets turnover in the Wild zone, Marcus Johansson<\/a> sped down the ice on a 3-on-2 and fed the puck to a trailing Faber, who blasted the short-handed goal past Comrie.<\/p>\n

Minnesota opened the scoring at 8:23 of the second when Yurov converted a pass from Yakov Trenin<\/a> from behind the net, beating Comrie cleanly.<\/p>\n

The goal came just moments after Wallstedt robbed Kyle Connor<\/a> from point-blank range.<\/p>\n

The Jets lost defenceman Neal Pionk<\/a> to an injury midway through the first period.<\/p>\n

The loss spoiled the 900th career NHL game for Winnipeg assistant captain Mark Scheifele<\/a>, the most in franchise history.<\/p>\n
