(AP) \u2014 A bat used by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/los-angeles-dodgers\/243\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/los-angeles-dodgers\/243\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> superstar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/shohei-ohtani\/727378\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/shohei-ohtani\/727378\" target=\"_blank\">Shohei Ohtani<\/a> to hit five home runs during the 2024 season, when he became the first major league player to hit 50 homers and steal 50 bases, was sold at auction for $300,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The second home run ball Ohtani hit out of Dodger Stadium during his historic performance in Game 4 of this season\u2019s National League Championship Season went for $270,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The items were among those sold at SCP Auctions\u2019 fall premier sale that closed Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Home run balls hit by the Dodgers in Game 7 of their World Series victory over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/toronto-blue-jays\/238\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/team-page\/toronto-blue-jays\/238\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> also sold. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/will-smith-191563\/873265\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/will-smith-191563\/873265\" target=\"_blank\">Will Smith<\/a>\u2019s game-winning homer in the 11th inning sold for $168,000, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/miguel-rojas\/455627\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/mlb\/player\/miguel-rojas\/455627\" target=\"_blank\">Miguel Rojas<\/a>\u2019 game-tying homer sold for $156,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">___<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">AP MLB: https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/MLB<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Associated Press<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.
