{"id":304344,"date":"2025-11-24T19:21:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T19:21:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/304344\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T19:21:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T19:21:08","slug":"cowboys-lt-tyler-guyton-ankle-likely-out-vs-chiefs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/304344\/","title":{"rendered":"Cowboys LT Tyler Guyton (ankle) likely out vs. Chiefs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">FRISCO, Texas &#8212; Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton is unlikely to play on Thanksgiving against the Kansas City Chiefs because of a high ankle sprain suffered in the second half of Sunday\u2019s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple sources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">While the injury is considered to be on the \u201cmilder\u201d side of a typical high ankle sprain, the four-day turnaround makes it difficult for Guyton to be ready to play Thursday. The Cowboys will hold a couple of walk-through practices this week in order to get ready for the Chiefs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Cowboys\u2019 Week 14 game is Dec. 4 at the Detroit Lions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">After suffering the injury, Guyton was listed as questionable to return, but he did not re-enter the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Nate Thomas would make his second start of his career if Guyton does not play. He started the Cowboys\u2019 Week 5 win at the New York Jets with Guyton out because of a concussion.
