The Arctic air coming is expected to move the region into \u201cwinter mode,\u201d at least temporarily.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are going to see a pattern shift starting next week,\u201d ECCC Meteorologist Ken Dosanjh told Daily Hive last week, adding that it\u2019s generally been warmer than usual the past couple of months. That includes November, as temperatures have been a bit above seasonal.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s apparently going to change, as the ECCC forecast shows that this coming weekend could be a freezing one.<\/p>\n
Normal temperatures for this time of year are around a high of 8\u00b0C and a low of 2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
On Friday, the Metro Vancouver forecast calls for overnight lows to be a chilly 2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
Then, for this coming Saturday, ECCC predicts overnight lows will dip below freezing, with a low of -1\u00b0C expected. The forecast doesn\u2019t call for any precipitation on Saturday, but there\u2019s a lot of rain in the forecast surrounding it. Rain is expected six out of seven days this week, according to ECCC.<\/p>\n

For now, there\u2019s no sign of snow in the Metro Vancouver forecast.<\/p>\n
However, other areas of B.C. could see snow and even colder temperatures.
