An ex-WWE personality has confirmed that his time with All Elite Wrestling<\/a> has come to an end.<\/p>\n

Speaking on All Axxess Entertainment<\/a>, former WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel revealed his departure from AEW. He noted that he always had a good time with the company, and also pointed out the differences between AEW and WWE in terms of the size of the operation and backstage culture.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI always had a good time there,\u201d Chimel said. \u201cThey\u2019re a smaller operation, and they run things a little differently, but the people there are nice. I knew a lot of WWE people who are there now. It was a nice little run and I\u2019m very grateful for the time I had there. Could Tony Chimel Return To WWE For John Cena\u2019s Last Match?<\/p>\n

Tony Chimel stated earlier this year<\/a> that he\u2019d love to be a part of John Cena\u2019s retirement tour. He said that AEW management wouldn\u2019t have had a problem with him making a temporary return to WWE while still being contracted to AEW.<\/p>\n

While he\u2019s known for his announcements for Edge, Tony Chimel has also introduced John Cena throughout multiple stages in the latter\u2019s career. Now that his time with AEW has come to an end, he could return to WWE to introduce John Cena<\/a> in his retirement match. However, nothing has been confirmed so far. <\/p>\n

John Cena has two more appearances left in his retirement tour. His next match will take place at Survivor Series: WarGames against Dominik Mysterio, and then he will go on to face the winner of the Last Time Is Now Tournament at Saturday Night\u2019s Main Event on December 13.<\/p>\n
