Isaac Johnson collapsed after suffering an injury during the third and final round of his match against fighter Mario Aleksandrovski at the Matador Fighter Challenge at Cicero Stadium on Friday, Nov. 21, NBC 5 Chicago<\/a> and Fox 5 Washington, D.C.<\/a> reported.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n An ambulance was called at 8:38 p.m. local time to transport \u201can injured fighter\u201d to the hospital, a town spokesperson told NBC 5 Chicago. Johnson later died at 12:01 a.m. at the Loyola University Medical Center, the outlets reported.\n<\/p>\n This was Johnson’s first Thai boxing match, according to the reports.\n<\/p>\n The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office (CCMEO) told PEOPLE an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.\n<\/p>\n Isaac Johnson.<\/p>\n Isaac T.
