He was a talented player in junior hockey with the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League before finding success at the collegiate level with the University of Denver.<\/p>\n The Bloomington, Minn. native was one of the team\u2019s top scorers on a Pioneer team that won the NCAA Tournament during the 2023-24 season. Along with earning All-Tournament honors, Broz scored 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points in 43 games.<\/p>\n Last year, his first season with Pittsburgh\u2019s American Hockey League affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton Penguins, Broz notched 19 goals and 37 points in 59 games. He\u2019s had a strong start to the 2025-26 campaign, notching eight goals and five assists for 13 points in 18 games, delivering three multi-point efforts.<\/p>\n Broz\u2019s efforts earned him a call-up to the big club, as the Pens sent Harrison Brunicke<\/a> and Jack St. Ivany down to Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton for conditioning purposes.<\/p>\n In 77 AHL regular-season games, Broz has scored 27 goals and 23 assists for 50 points, with another three points in four Calder Cup Playoff games.<\/p>\n The Penguins <\/p>\n
