It\u2019s a relatively sad time in Vancouver Canucks<\/a> land, as the Canucks sit 30th overall in the NHL standings<\/a> with American Thanksgiving fast approaching. Fans are making their voices heard, and that includes five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Michael Bubl\u00e9. Bubl\u00e9, who identifies as a diehard Canucks fan and has become friends with multiple players in the Canucks\u2019 current core, posted the following on the\u00a0CanucksArmy Instagram comment section late last night and into Tuesday morning:<\/p>\n

\u201cReading these comments sucks. What a shit fan base we are. With fans like us, karma will always give us what we deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to a post criticizing management \u2014 particularly their handling of the situation between JT Miller and Elias Pettersson last season \u2014 Bubl\u00e9 wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one in management can be blamed for what happened with JT [Miller]. Or the brutal amount of injuries and bad luck. They\u2019ve drafted pretty well and if Quinn Doesn\u2019t want to resign, that\u2019s not their fault either. They\u2019re dealt the hand and they play it. I like the management team and while I hate losing like this, I see a lot of light at the end of this tunnel. Great young D core. Up and coming goalies. And some very good players who wanna be here. Might be a shit year but I think we\u2019re gonna be ok. Jim [Rutherford] has won at every level. Calder, Memorial, Stanley Cups. Guy knows how to win. Let Toronto and Oiler fans panic. I think very soon, we\u2019ll be the team to beat. And then the world can hate us again as the cocky asshole fans we were meant to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bubl\u00e9\u2019s comments come in response to a report from Sportsnet\u2019s Elliotte Friedman that the Canucks have made it clear to other NHL teams that they are willing to listen to offers for their veteran players<\/a>. Canucks fans took to the comment section of the post on\u00a0CanucksArmy voice their displeasure with management, ownership, the coaching staff, and the Canucks\u2019 current core group of players.<\/p>\n

In case you don\u2019t know what \u201cposting through it\u201d means: it\u2019s essentially when one continues to share content online while experiencing personal distress or difficulty. Typically used to describe the act of posting to help get through something tough, such as a breakup or job loss, we feel it\u2019s more than appropriate to use to describe the pain Canucks fans are feeling right now.<\/p>\n

Honestly? You might disagree with Bubl\u00e9\u2019s stance, but you absolutely have to respect the fact that he\u2019s willing to explain his viewpoints and engage with fellow fans.<\/p>\n
