According to her, this individual was known for using his power to control women\u2019s careers depending on whether or not they agreed to sleep with him. The worst part? Whether they said yes or no, the outcome was the same\u2014he could blacklist them either way.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time it was also, \u2018Stay away from the boys. Don\u2019t go near the boys. No, stay away from the boys.\u2019 But it was certain things like \u2014 I\u2019m not going to name names, but there was a guy on the main roster who was like, \u2018Be careful. Be careful, because if \u2014 one, he\u2019ll try to sleep with you. If he sleeps with you, then he\u2019ll blacklist you. And if he tries to sleep with you and you don\u2019t sleep with him, he\u2019ll also blacklist you.\u2019 So there was this line that you had to walk \u2014 this tightrope. You know him definitely. But anyway, at one point, it was like, how do you walk this line of, you know what I mean.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynch went on to explain that the fear didn\u2019t stop there. For women trying to make it in WWE, even being in a relationship with someone backstage felt like a gamble. If things went bad, the fallout was rarely fair.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo there was always this thing of, like, if you get into a relationship and things go south, they\u2019re not going to fire the guy. They\u2019re always going to fire the girl. You know? So it was a very, very scary thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
