The flight crew alleged Kavanagh was exhibiting \u201cviolent behavior,\u201d prompting a response from two civil guard officers. The featherweight fighter \u2014 also a friend of fellow MMA fighter and former UFC champion Conor McGregor \u2014 allegedly \u201crepeatedly struck\u201d two officers while resisting arrest on the aircraft, the local outlets reported.<\/p>\n<p>Video of the incident has since started to circulate online. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=g2njkRXwXTI&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.atlanticohoy.com%2F&amp;source_ve_path=MjM4NTE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">In one clip<\/a> obtained by by Atl\u00e1ntico Hoy, Kavanagh can seemingly be seen tussling with the officers as they attempt to pull her to one side of the aisle. At least one officer involved was placed on leave due to injuries sustained during the incident, but the officer\u2019s exact condition was not clear.<\/p>\n<p>The MMA fighter was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlanticohoy.com\/sociedad\/detenida-luchadora-mma-amiga-mcgregor-por-lesionar-dos-guardias-civiles-en-canarias_1554311_102.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">eventually arrested<\/a> and detained overnight at the airport\u2019s holding cell.
