It\u2019s been over a month, 37 days in fact, since Ineos Grenadiers\u2019 last transfer announcement with the news that Embret Svestad-B\u00e5rdseng had signed a three-year deal. <\/p>\n

That move had been on the cards for months – we\u2019d reported on it happening during the summer – but since then, the British WorldTour squad haven\u2019t announced a single rider. They have not publicly announced a new sports director; we still don\u2019t have official news that Geraint Thomas has started as the team\u2019s Director of Racing; and there have been no formal updates on their U23 team for next season.<\/p>\n

Silence from Ineos is to be expected, and it shouldn\u2019t ring the alarm bells. In my experience, they tend to be relatively reserved in their communication with the media.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s on the transfer market where we\u2019ll focus our attention, with details on where it all stands with Sam Welsford in particular. Right now, according to PCS, Ineos Grenadiers have 22 riders on next season\u2019s roster. That includes new arrivals Dorian Godon, K\u00e9vin Vauquelin, Theodor Storm and Svestad-B\u00e5rdseng.<\/p>\n
