Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour appeared together at the Stranger Things season five premiere on November 6, 2025, in Hollywood, amid a viral report that alleged Brown had filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour. <\/p>\n

The U.K. tabloid The Daily Mail<\/a> claimed Brown submitted \u201cpages and pages\u201d of allegations before filming the final season. The report did not disclose specific details and stated that Brown did not allege any sexual impropriety. Netflix reportedly conducted<\/a> an internal investigation that lasted \u201cfor months,\u201d during which Brown allegedly brought a personal representative to set. Netflix has not issued a comment on the report.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> after the premiere, Brown said showing a united front was nothing new: \u201cWe\u2019ve been doing that for the last 10 years. I mean, we have always been united in that. We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.\u201d <\/p>\n

She added that returning to work with Harbour was \u201cso nice\u201d and \u201creally exciting.\u201d Reflecting on their dynamic in the fifth season, she noted, \u201cIt was quite nostalgic because it reminded me so much of season two and three, where we\u2019re both kind of butting heads and she\u2019s growing up, she\u2019s trying to find her own voice and he\u2019s trying to parent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown added, \u201cThat dynamic definitely comes back into play once again, and I\u2019m really excited for people to see that.\u201d Ross Duffer stated, \u201cNothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.\u201d Shawn Levy said, \u201cWe did everything to build that environment\u2026 we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that\u2019s always been bedrock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Volume 1 of Stranger Things season five is streaming on Netflix.
