Nupur Sheoran, a resident of Bhiwani,\u00a0 recently won a gold medal at the World Boxing Cup. Meanwhile, a video linked to her is going viral. Several users are falsely sharing it, claiming that it features actress Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, who won the gold medal at the World Boxing Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Vishvas News investigated and found the claim to be false. The video actually features boxer Nupur Sheoran. The video dates back to September 2025, when Nupur won a silver medal at the 2025 World Boxing Championships. The old video is now being shared as recent, with a misleading claim that it features Rasha.<\/p>\n<p>What is going viral?<\/p>\n<p>Facebook user \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/624410480696186\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sachet India<\/a>\u2019 shared the viral video on November 23, 2025, with the caption, \u201cRaveena Tandon\u2019s daughter Rasha Thandani wins gold medal in 80+ World Boxing #raveenatandon #Mukkebaji \u201c<\/p>\n<p>See the archived link of the post <a href=\"https:\/\/perma.cc\/ESX6-8HBD\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-252.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Investigation<\/p>\n<p>To investigate the viral video, we took screenshots of the video and searched them using Google Lens. This led us to a video on the official YouTube channel of \u2018Sports Now \u2018, uploaded on September 16, 2025. According to the information provided, this video dates back to the 2025 World Boxing Championships, where Nupur won the silver medal in the 80+ kg weight category.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>We also found the video on the YouTube channel of \u2018@ANINewsIndia\u2019, uploaded on September 16, 2025, with the caption, \u201cNupur won the silver medal at the World Boxing Championships. A news article published on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newindianexpress.com\/sport\/other\/2025\/Sep\/10\/medal-of-honour-boxer-nupur-building-on-familys-rich-legacy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">newindianexpress.com<\/a> on September 10, 2025, reveals that boxing runs in her family. Nupur\u2019s grandfather, Hawa Singh, was a boxer, while her father, Sanjay Kumar, was an international boxer. Furthermore, her mother has also represented India in basketball, underscoring a strong sporting legacy in the family<\/p>\n<p>The collage below highlights the difference between Nupur and Rasha.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-253.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Indian boxers gave a powerful performance in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tv9hindi.com\/sports\/nupur-sheoran-fulfills-her-promise-and-wins-gold-medal-in-world-boxing-cup-2025-3580848.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">World Boxing Cup<\/a> Final 2025, securing a total of nine gold medals.
