A new Amazfit smartwatch<\/a> appears to be being readied for release, with a certification uncovered of the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM). <\/p>\n A model, referred to only as \u201cA2557 (Smart Watch)\u201d in the filing, gained certification on November 25th. And, as we\u2019ve seen from other watch launches from the brand in 2025, this often suggests an official announcement is imminent. <\/p>\n In the case of the Amazfit Bip 6<\/a> and Amazfit Active 2<\/a>, these devices appeared in the SIRIM database just weeks before their official launch in various countries worldwide. <\/p>\n So, if the pattern holds, we could be looking at an announcement before the end of the year\u2014or possibly in early 2026, in line with CES.<\/p>\n What could the mystery Amazfit watch be?<\/p>\n Unfortunately, as in the previous examples, the SIRIM database entry doesn\u2019t provide any details about the upcoming wearable, which means it\u2019s open to debate as to what exactly this device is.<\/p>\n We can probably rule out a few based on previous launch cycles.
