Morgan Freeman said his main concern about nearing 90 involves whether he will still be able to play golf<\/p>\n

\u201cMost days when it\u2019s sunny, that\u2019s what I think: \u2018Are we going to be able to golf today?’ ” the actor said<\/p>\n

Freeman turned 88 in June, and he said he plans to continue acting moving forward<\/p>\n

Morgan Freeman<\/a>‘s top concern about nearing 90 involves being able to keep playing golf.<\/p>\n

The Now You See Me: Now You Don’t actor, who turned 88 in June, told AARP The Magazine<\/a> in a recent interview that golf is at the top of mind as he gets older.<\/p>\n

“Will I still be playing golf? That\u2019s the question,” he said, when asked his thoughts on reaching 90.<\/p>\n

Freeman said he remains “pretty good at golf,” and said he lives on a golf course. “I mean, for a hack, I\u2019m pretty good,” he added.<\/p>\n

The actor said he has started to use a cart when he gets out on the course, though he said he enjoys the amount of movement he gets from the sport.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve been given dispensation to take the cart into places where normally they would stop the cart. Age makes a difference,” Freeman said. “So I can get pretty close to the greens with the cart, but you still have to do a bit of walking. I\u2019ve got, everybody probably noticed by now, my right foot is kind of bum. It gives me a slight limp because of the ankle. So I can only walk so much before I wear it out.”<\/p>\n

“Remember we were talking just earlier about keep moving?” he added, when asked what he likes about golf. “You get the most movement out of golf at my age, mind you. It\u2019s walking, stooping, bending, swinging, cussing. It\u2019s a great sport for older adults. It\u2019s better than bocce ball.”<\/p>\n

When asked if he maintains a to-do list for his life, Freeman said, “No, no. I\u2019m really quite comfortable right here now. All I am is an itinerant actor \u2014 nobody\u2019s judge, nobody\u2019s instructor.”<\/p>\n

Aside from Freeman’s plans to continue acting moving forward, he otherwise told AARP The Magazine that his future simply involves more golf.<\/p>\n
