I haven\u2019t been getting \u201cout\u201d much since July when I badly injured my gimpy left knee.\u00a0 Full knee replacement is coming but It\u2019s not clear yet exactly when.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been having some fun participating in a Facebook group for black and white landscape photography.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been revisiting many of my old images in software (Lightroom), creating what you might think of as \u201cnew prints\u201d in black and white only.<\/p>\n

These are all landscape photos from Washington and Oregon.<\/p>\n

First a group from Cannon Beach<\/a>, Oregon, a favorite retreat for us when the summer weather at our home in Klickitat County, Washington gets too hot.<\/p>\n

Then three from the Palouse<\/a>, the rolling loess-soil, wheat-growing region of Washington State (primarily) near Pullman, Washington, where our son Jamie is now a junior studying engineering at Washington State University.<\/p>\n
