NFL Network reporter Bridget Condon won Thanksgiving<\/a> on social media this week, delivering one of the most brutal comebacks to an unsupportive ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n

While players were battling it out on the field during the NFL’s holiday triple-header, Condon was busy going viral on X after taking a thinly-veiled swipe at a former flame.<\/p>\n

Condon, who has been a key face for NFL Media since 2021, posted a photo of herself smiling alongside Bengals legend Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson ahead of Thursday night’s clash between Cincinnati and the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the caption was far from a standard fan interaction and, instead, Condon used the moment to settle an old score.<\/p>\n

‘When I was coming up in this industry I was making pennies and this guy I dated told me to quit and come live with him cause I\u2019d never make it,’ she wrote.<\/p>\n

Condon dished out a ‘petty’ comeback to a former partner in her caption for the selfie<\/p>\n

The post immediately caught attention online, racking up nearly six million views as fans celebrated the ‘hall of fame’ level of shade.<\/p>\n

The savage sign-off even drew applause from her fellow insiders. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport was among those who commented, writing: ‘Respect this level of petty.’<\/p>\n

The viral moment came amidst a wider conversation about the sacrifices sports reporters make during the holidays.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the week, FOX Sports veteran Erin Andrews sparked a discussion about the reality of the job, highlighting that members of the media often miss family gatherings to bring fans the action.<\/p>\n

During a segment on her ‘Calm Down’ podcast with co-host Charissa Thompson, Andrews – who will be on the air during Thanksgiving<\/a> Day – detailed some sacrifices she made to get to where she is in her career.<\/p>\n

‘This is what one of my first professors said,’ Andrews relayed. \u2018If you don\u2019t want to make $40,000 in your first job, get out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘If you don\u2019t want to be told you need a nose job, get out. If you don\u2019t want to be divorced, get out. If you don\u2019t want to work holidays, get out.<\/p>\n

‘And I don\u2019t say it like that, but I say you got to love what you do because I miss all holidays. I didn\u2019t get married until I was in my 40s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a result, many responded with apathy and crocodile tears for the veteran reporter.<\/p>\n
