As 21st-century pop icons BTS prepare to make their grand return next year, the group\u2019s youngest member Jung Kook has spoken to Rolling Stone in a global exclusive presented by Rolling Stone titles Japan, Korea, UK, India, France, Brazil, Philippines and China.<\/p>\n

The cover will be available in print as three exclusive variant covers by Rolling Stone in Japan, Korea and the UK \u2013 to be revealed on December 8th 2025. It comes after a massive year for the singer, in which he set a new digital streaming record <\/a>with his 2023 solo single,\u00a0\u2018Seven\u2019. In August, Big Hit Music confirmed that the singer\u2019s debut solo track has passed over 2.5billion streams on\u00a0Spotify<\/a>\u00a0and continues to grow. The impressive feat is the first time that a K-pop song has hit the huge milestone, beating BTS\u2019 \u2018Dynamite\u2019 in doing so. <\/p>\n

It was also revealed that Jungkook\u2019s releases have racked up 9.4billion streams, which makes him the most-streamed K-pop solo act of all time.<\/p>\n

The achievement comes after Jungkook was discharged from South Korea\u2019s 18-month mandatory military service in June alongside his bandmate Jimin. This followed the band\u2019s RM and V, who completed their service just a week previously.<\/p>\n

Fans don\u2019t have too long to wait for the group\u2019s return either, having confirmed in June that they will return as a group next year following their period of national service.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,\u201d they said in a livestream. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member\u2019s thoughts and ideas.
