{"id":319131,"date":"2025-12-01T20:53:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T20:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/319131\/"},"modified":"2025-12-01T20:53:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T20:53:08","slug":"cmat-fontaines-d-c-and-gorillaz-to-headline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/319131\/","title":{"rendered":"CMAT, Fontaines D.C. and Gorillaz to headline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Fontaines D.C. and Gorillaz have been announced as headline acts at Electric Picnic in 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Gorillaz will headline on the Saturday night and Dublin post-punk band Fontaines D.C. will headline the Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Irish singer CMAT was also announced as one of the acts to play Ireland&#8217;s largest gathering of music and arts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Zara Larsson, Sombr, Skepta, Wunderhorse, Role Model and Geese complete the list of acts announced on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">From humble beginnings in 2004 with just 10,000 capacity, Electric Picnic has grown into a three day multi-stage event and attracts some of the biggest artists in the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Electric Picnic will take place from 28 August to 30 August 2026 at Stradbally Hall, County Laois.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Electric Picnic is Ireland&#8217;s biggest music and arts festival and in 2025 it was expected that <a target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/cjey8z8y9z0o\" class=\"sc-f9178328-0 iCaRzc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">over 80,000 people<\/a> were to attend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Fontaines D.C. and Gorillaz have been announced as headline acts at Electric Picnic in 2026.
