Diamond Dallas Page Discusses Butterbean’s Health Transformation<\/p>\n
WWE<\/a> legend Diamond Dallas Page recently opened up about former boxer Butterbean\u2019s health transformation. The shocking results were a testament to DDP Yoga and were documented as part of his new Tubi series Change or Die. He explained why the former boxing<\/a> star\u2019s transformation was so powerful for viewers.<\/p>\n Butterbean<\/a>, whose real name Eric Esch, was noticeably limited physically from the start of the show. He required crutches to help him stand and admitted that he felt he only had a few years left to live.<\/p>\n \u2018The King of The 4 Rounder\u2019 needed hip surgery and was in tremendous pain. However, he had to lose a certain amount of weight before becoming eligible for the procedure.<\/p>\n During his appearance on\u00a0The Game Plan<\/a>, Page revealed that he had extended an offer to Butterbean when they both appeared on a podcast. Initially, \u2018DDP\u2019 thought the former boxer was simply overweight. However, he later discovered that the boxer\u2019s physical limitations were far more severe<\/a>, and he had tremendous difficulty moving around.<\/p>\n \u201cWatching Butterbean hunched over and walking with canes in his hands. He put them underneath his arms but it hurt like hell,\u201d Page said. \u201cA lot of times, he would put the crutches in front of him and walk the a crab.\u201d<\/p>\n Before his transition, Butterbean had been moving around with the assistance of crutches and a scooter. He admitted that he wasn\u2019t aware of the severity of Butterbean\u2019s physical issues and limitations.<\/p>\n \u201c[Butterbean] was sitting in a chair when he was doing the podcast, so I didn\u2019t see his limitations.
