Luke Hughes<\/a> talked about his relationship to Dillon and his impact during his time with the team.<\/p>\n\u201cHe\u2019s an unbelievable person and fits in unbelievably on our team,\u201d Hughes told the media on Sunday. \u201cAnd just as a person, he\u2019s one of my really good friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cPlaying 1,000 games in this league is such an honor, especially as an undrafted guy. He\u2019s just a really special person and I\u2019m really happy for him and I\u2019m really excited to be a part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dillon has nine points so far this season (three goals, six assists) in 25 games played. Throughout his career, he has 42 goals and 179 assists.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery step and every level there are so many people that make this,\u201d Dillon said. \u201cAnd there are fortunate things too, and I\u2019ve just been so lucky and appreciative.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just love coming to the rink,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s been so amazing since I came here to the Devils and everywhere I\u2019ve played. \u2026 I wouldn\u2019t change it for anything.
