Caitlin Clark<\/a> is the most famous No. 22 in the WNBA<\/a>, but the Indiana Fever<\/a> star is far from the only No. 22 around the league.<\/p>\n

A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Sonia Citron of the Washington Mystics, Veronica Burton of the Golden State Valkyries<\/a>, and Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks<\/a> also wear that number.<\/p>\n

So who wears No. 22 if these players are representing the United States?<\/p>\n

Turns out, none of them \u2014 at least for training camp.<\/p>\n

USA Basketball<\/a> has released its training camp roster, and the coveted No. 22 is unused.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear how active Clark will be at camp. She last played on July 13 before a groin injury sidelined her for the rest of the season. She appeared in 13 games.<\/p>\n

The 2026 FIBA World Cup<\/a> is scheduled for Sept. 4-13 in Germany. Since the WNBA and its players’ association haven’t agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement<\/a>, its effect on the WNBA schedule isn’t clear.<\/p>\n

Here are the numbers for U.S. women’s national team training camp, scheduled for Dec. 12-14 at Duke in Durham, North Carolina.<\/p>\n
