He was the East Division\u2019s nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old played collegiately at the University of Windsor where he registered 160 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, nine sacks, five pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles, and one interception returned for a touchdown. He was named an OUA all-star in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The native of Windsor, Ont. attended the University at Buffalo pro day earlier this year where he ran a blazing 4.47-second 40-yard dash. He also recorded a 4.47-second shuttle, 7.19-second three-cone drill, 27 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, a 36-inch vertical jump, and a 10-foot, four-inch broad jump.<\/p>\n<p>As per\u00a03DownNation sources, the Saints had a scout in attendance when Veresuk tested at the University at Buffalo pro day.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s workout was also attended by <a href=\"https:\/\/3downnation.com\/2025\/12\/02\/cfl-award-winner-trey-vaval-to-work-out-for-new-orleans-saints-cleveland-browns-sources\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive back and return specialist Trey Vaval<\/a>, which was previously reported by\u00a03DownNation.
