For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC 323, I\u2019ve got a big live dog on Saturday\u2019s early prelims. Let\u2019s get it on, c\u2019mon!<\/p>\n

MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC 323
\nUFC 323: Dvalishvili vs Yan 2<\/a><\/p>\n

Start Time: 6:00 PM EST \u2013 (ESPN2\/ESPN+\/PPV)<\/p>\n

All my research tells me to pick the big favorite, Jalin Turner, to beat Edson Barboza in their lightweight bout on Saturday\u2019s early prelims<\/a>. Turner is nine years younger than Barboza, is four inches taller, and has a two-inch reach advantage. Plus, \u2018The Tarantula\u2019 is extremely dangerous, winning all 14 of his pro fights inside the distance (10 knockouts, four submissions).<\/p>\n

However, during his current 0-2 and 1-4 run, Turner has looked like he\u2019d rather be anywhere but inside the cage. And he backed that hunch up by \u2018retiring\u2019 earlier this year. Now, apparently, he\u2019s changed his mind and is back in action on Saturday.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t bet a fighter with at least one foot out of the sport to win against a dangerous striker like Barbosa \u2013 especially at these prices.<\/p>\n
