If you\u2019ve seen photos online that appear to show Sean “Diddy” Combs<\/a> smiling in prison, they\u2019re not real.\n<\/p>\n Images appearing to show Combs smiling alongside fellow inmates at FCI Fort Dix went viral on social media. The realistic-looking photos even included a TMZ watermark in an apparent attempt to make them seem legitimate.\n<\/p>\n But they’re not real \u2014\u00a0according to both TMZ<\/a> and Combs’ rep Juda Engelmayer.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThese images are not real. They are AI fabrications,” Engelmayer says in a statement to PEOPLE. “Sean has always treated people with kindness and respect, but it\u2019s disconcerting how often manipulated or AI-generated images are being pushed into the conversation while he is in a federal facility. Nothing in these doctored photos reflects reality.\u201d\n<\/p>\n A TMZ article about the photos says of the photo with the brand’s watermark, “Looks legit, but we’re here to bust your bubble.”\n<\/p>\n Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at Fort Dix, located on a military base in New Jersey.
