\n\tThe A-list cast of \u201cHope,\u201d the hotly-anticipated follow-up from acclaimed South Korean director Na Hong-Jin<\/a> after his 2016 box office smash hit \u201cThe Wailing,\u201d have come together for a stylish studio shoot and unveiled release plans for the feature, which is now in post production.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cast photo features South Korean stars Hwang Jung-min (\u201cNarcos Saints,\u201d \u201cThe Wailing\u201d), Zo In-sung (\u201cMoving\u201d) and Hoyeon<\/a> (\u201cDisclaimer,\u201d \u201cSquid Game\u201d), plus international faces in Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender<\/a> (\u201cThe Killer,\u201d \u201c12 Years a Slave\u201d), Oscar winner Alicia Vikander<\/a> (\u201cThe Danish Girl,\u201d \u201cEx Machina\u201d), Taylor Russell (\u201cBones and All,\u201d \u201cWaves\u201d) and Cameron Britton (\u201cThe Umbrella Academy,\u201d \u201cMindhunter\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\tBilled as Na\u2019s most ambitious project to date, \u201cHope\u201d is a sci-fi action thriller set in the remote village of Hope Harbor, near the heavily fortified Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). When a tiger is suspected to have appeared and local police chief Bum-seok is alerted, it throws the community into chaos. But what begins as a local emergency soon spirals into a deeper, more terrifying mystery, one that forces the town\u2019s residents to confront the unknown.<\/p>\n

\n\tHwang reunites with Na to play Bum-seok, while Zo co-stars as Sung-ki, a headstrong local who tracks a dangerous creature into the forest. Making her feature film debut, Hoyeon plays Sung-ae, a principled rookie officer navigating a crisis beyond her training. Meanwhile, Fassbender, Vikander, Russell and Britton appear as extraterrestrials whose arrival in Hope Harbor accelerates the town\u2019s unraveling and deepens the mystery.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is now slated for a summer 2026 release, with international sales handled by Plus M Entertainment and UTA Independent Film Group representing North America.<\/p>\n
