A bold investigative report (a Reddit comment section) into which leisure activities attract the highest concentration of human peacocks is gaining some epic internet attention.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Scientists, or at least a guy who goes by the-tinman on the AskReddit subreddit, have determined that the real answer lies in a person\u2019s hobbies. So I\u2019ve bravely set out to rank six common pastimes by their magnetic pull on certified douchebags.<\/p>\n
# 1 – Anyone Who Owns a Speedboat<\/p>\n
If there\u2019s a pastime that screams \u201cMy personality is\u2026 \u2018LOUD!\u2019 \u2026it\u2019s speedboats.
\nI fear that the official motto of this hobby is: \u2018Do you even wakeboard, bro?\u2019 These guys spend 90% of their time bragging, and the other 10% shouting \u2018HOLD MY BEER!\u2019 before accidentally launching themselves into the lake. Sit down.\u00a0<\/p>\n

# 2 – People Who Do MMA<\/p>\n
Now look, some of them are really nice to look at, but there are two types of MMA hobbyists in my opinion, the actually talented fighters (um, rare), and Kyle, who once took a free trial class and now threatens to \u201crear-naked choke<\/a>\u201d the bouncer at Hoppers.<\/p>\n They show up everywhere wearing fingerless gloves because, apparently, their hands are athletes too.<\/p>\n Douche Dial = 4.5\/5<\/p>\n # 3 – People who play the guitar<\/p>\n This one sorta hurt to write, but I get it.\u00a0<\/p>\n To be clear, the guitar itself is innocent. The problem is the \u201canyway\u2026 here\u2019s \u2018Wonderwall\u2019 guy at kick-ons. One strum and suddenly he\u2019s a tortured, misunderstood poet.\u00a0<\/p>\n Bonus douche points if he brings his guitar to a party uninvited, calls it his \u201caxe\u201d, and my personal favourite, serenades someone who is very clearly trying to leave (speaking from personal experience).\u00a0<\/p>\n Douche Dial = 2.9\/5<\/p>\n # 4 – Magicians<\/p>\n
