“Hi guys. I’ve been working hard to be back for UTS in London but frustratingly I’m just not quite ready. It’s a tough call as at this point I want nothing more than to get out there and compete but I’ve been advised to take more time. I’m sorry to let down fans and miss out on this event,” Draper said.

Draper will be replaced in Group B by last year’s semi-finalist in London Ugo Humbert.

Humbert will face tough competition from De Minaur, Andrey Rublev, Tomas Machac, Casper Ruud, Francisco Cerundolo, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino. Between them they have won 53 ATP Tour titles and 8 UTS Tour titles.

Draper had a breakthrough in 2025, making his Top 5 debut and winning his first Masters title at Indian Wells, but injuries caught up with him and shortened his season. He pulled out of his second match at the US Open and did not play again.
