The Vancouver Canucks can\u2019t seem to catch a break.<\/p>\n
There are the injuries, plus the fact that they\u2019re one of the worst teams in the NHL. And, earlier this week, Vancouver\u2019s only Stanley Cup-winning team, which obviously isn\u2019t the Canucks, got a shoutout on Jeopardy!.<\/p>\n
Contestants on an episode that aired on Tuesday were given an \u201cAll Sports\u201d category. After contestant Anne Martyn correctly answered a question about the Ice Bucket Challenge, she took her shot at answering some sports trivia.<\/p>\n
Ironically, it was another ice-related inquiry.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the oldest trophy awarded in North American pro sports; one early winning team was the Vancouver Millionaires,\u201d the clue read.<\/p>\n

Then, it was 55 years until the Canucks became an NHL team in 1970.<\/p>\n Now? It\u2019s been 55 years without a Cup celebration for Canucks fans.<\/p>\n Based on the way the team is playing right now<\/a>, it feels like it could be another 55 years until they finally bring home that elusive Stanley Cup.<\/p>\n
