{"id":325910,"date":"2025-12-05T00:16:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T00:16:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/325910\/"},"modified":"2025-12-05T00:16:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T00:16:11","slug":"opp-identify-driver-wanted-in-relation-to-tow-truck-operator-hit-and-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/325910\/","title":{"rendered":"OPP identify driver wanted in relation to tow truck operator hit-and-run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police said that with the help from the public they were able to identify a transport truck driver wanted in connection with a fatal crash.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday just after 7:00 a.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OPP_WR\/status\/1996686362783924661?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">a tow truck operator from Kitchener was helping another motorist on Highway 401<\/a>, when the collision happened near Oxford Road 3.<\/p>\n<p>Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sergeant Ed Sanchuk said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
