{"id":326542,"date":"2025-12-05T07:10:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T07:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/326542\/"},"modified":"2025-12-05T07:10:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T07:10:08","slug":"bo-bichette-predicted-to-betray-blue-jays-sign-with-al-east-rival-in-mlb-free-agency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/326542\/","title":{"rendered":"Bo Bichette predicted to betray Blue Jays, sign with AL East rival in MLB free agency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It seems like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/toronto-blue-jays\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> are all-in on signing some of the top players on the free-agency market, already showing that by giving Vladimir Guerrero Jr. an in-season extension worth $500 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To follow that up, the Blue Jays handed out a seven-year, $210 million contract to right-hander Dylan Cease.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019ll be interesting to see what the Blue Jays\u2019 plan is for the remainder of free agency, but it certainly feels like the organization is all-in.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Whether that means bringing Bo Bichette back is one thing, but the Blue Jays will do what they have to do to ensure they can get back to another World Series.<\/p>\n<p>If Bichette were to walk, which some believe could happen, including Pete Caldera of NJ.com, there might be a fit with another AL East team.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/boston-red-sox\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boston Red Sox<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Alex Bregman signs elsewhere, could see Bichette moving to third base at Fenway Park,\u201d <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/articles\/mlb-free-agent-predictions-where-090320886.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">he wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From the same outlet, Andrew Tredinnick doesn\u2019t believe Bichette will leave the Blue Jays in free agency, stating that the organization has already done a lot this winter and is trying to prove that it wants to win it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDefending American League champions proved they&#8217;re all-in by bringing in Dylan Cease.
