January Jones<\/a> is opening up about her battle with the neurological disability \u201cmisophonia\u201d and how her brother-in-law has been treating her condition as a joke.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old Mad Men actress made an Instagram video to open up about the situation.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Clinic defines misophonia as a \u201cdisorder where you have a decreased tolerance to specific sounds and things you can sense related to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

January says her brother-in-laws habit of eating chips bothers her.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor today, I\u2019d like to talk about something that I\u2019ve been struggling with my whole life, which is called misophonia. My whole life. And it\u2019s gotten progressively worse over the years. I have a brother-in-law whose favorite food is chips,\u201d January said in the video.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cJust all the time, he eats chips. I have talked to him about this many times and he seems to think it\u2019s funny to eat chips around me now, because it\u2019s an ongoing joke to see what happens and see what I do. I just think it\u2019s really unkind to my issue and also very dangerous for him.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cOtherwise, he\u2019s a really nice guy. And it\u2019s his birthday today, so happy birthday. I hope you\u2019re eating a f\u2013k load of chips,\u201d she concluded the clip.<\/p>\n
