Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston has shared her honest view on the Dallas Wings and their plans for the No. 1 overall pick. With Dallas owning the top pick in next year’s WNBA draft, many expect a major move. The biggest question is who will headline the team alongside Paige Bueckers in Texas.Boston believes the Wings could select Azzi Fudd. Fudd, who has been dating Bueckers for some time, is a talented shooter. The idea of the two stars playing together has excited many fans. Boston shared her thoughts during her “Post Moves” podcast with Candace Parker. She said she would not be surprised if Dallas makes that call.

Aliyah Boston and Candace Parker break down WNBA draft possibilities, will Azzi Fudd join girlfriend Paige Bueckers?

WNBA Draft No.1 Predictions, USA Basketball Roster & Candace vs A’ja 1v1 | Ep.18

Aliyah Boston made her prediction clear during the podcast. She discussed that the Dallas Wings need to brush up their roster in the shooting department.“I could see them going with Azzi (Fudd) at number one. Like, I can see it. So I mean, we’re not surprised because they did have the worst record for a little minute, but I could see them going with Azzi still number one”, Boston said.Candace Parker agreed with the idea that Fudd is a strong fit. But she also offered other options. Parker said Fudd could also work well with the Minnesota Lynx at No. 2 or the Seattle Storm at No. 3. She even suggested Olivia Miles as a possible No. 1 pick for Dallas.Parker explained that Miles is a pure playmaker. She said Miles would fit perfectly next to Paige Bueckers if the Wings want Bueckers to focus more on scoring. Off the court, both Bueckers and Boston continue to shine. Forbes recently named them to its 30 Under 30 Sports list. They were two of only two WNBA players selected.“After capping her historic UConn career with a national championship, Paige Bueckers was taken No. 1 overall in the 2025 WNBA draft and earned Rookie of the Year honors,” Forbes wrote. “Off the court, she has an equity stake in three-on-three league Unrivaled and a deep bench of sponsors, including Nike, which made her the first college NIL athlete with a Player Edition sneaker, and DoorDash, which named her creative director.”Meanwhile, the Fudd and Bueckers pairing may depend on Arike Ogunbowale’s future. If Ogunbowale leaves Dallas in free agency, Fudd could be her ideal replacement.
