\n\tTommy Shelby is back on television! Rather, he will be back on television March 20, 2026, on Netflix<\/a>. And this time, Shelby (Cillian Murphy<\/a>) and the rest of the Peaky Blinders<\/a> will also be in theaters: Netflix is giving the Peaky Blinders movie<\/a> a theatrical release, albeit a limited one. As Netflix is sometimes, selectively wont to do, the Peaky Blinders film will get a two-week theatrical head start beginning on March 6.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs if that wasn\u2019t exciting enough to stand out on an already<\/a> <\/a>big-news Netflix day,<\/a> we now have a title and the full plot line for the film (and some pretty sweet key art at the bottom of this post).<\/p>\n

\n\tPeaky Blinders: The Immortal Man<\/a> is set in Birmingham in 1940. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAmidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet,\u201d the official synopsis reads. \u201cWith the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground. By order of the Peaky Blinders\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPeaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was written by Peaky Blinders series creator Steven Knight and will be directed by Tom Harper. The title refers to the fact that Shelby lives on beyond the series<\/a>. Peaky Blinders ended with Shelby faking his own death and riding off on a white horse. The symbolism of that horse\u2019s color is completely overriden by the bloody below poster art.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Murphy, the movie also stars Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, A House of Dynamite), Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, The Hateful Eight), Sophie Rundle (After the Flood, Gentleman Jack), Barry Keoghan (Saltburn, The Banshees of Inisherin) and Stephen Graham (Adolescence, Boiling Point).<\/p>\n

\n\tA little further down the call sheet are Ned Dennehy (Culprits, The Peripheral), Packy Lee (Blue Lights), Ian Peck (His Dark Materials, Robin Hood) and Jay Lycurgo (Steve, Half Bad: The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself). <\/p>\n

\n\tMurphy, Rundle, Graham, Lee, Dennehy and Peck are the cast members returning from the series for the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tPeaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will be produced by Murphy, Knight, Guy Heeley and Patrick Holland, and executive produced by Harper, Andrew Warren; Caryn Mandabach; Jamie Glazebrook and David Kosse.<\/p>\n
