The receiver was slated to become a free agent in February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHatch epitomizes what it is to be a BC Lion,\u201d said general manager Ryan Rigmaiden. \u201cHe\u2019s a dynamic playmaker that\u2019s smart, tough and puts the team before himself. As great as he\u2019s become on the field, I\u2019m just as proud of the leadership role he\u2019s taken and the effect he has in our locker room.
