With up to 330 hours of battery life in 10-minute tracking mode, the Mini 3 Plus\u2014on paper at least\u2014shapes up as one of the best options for staying safe during extended, multi-day trips.<\/p>\n<p>\n        Advertisement    <\/p>\n<p>An increasingly difficult choice for adventurers<\/p>\n<p>While the Fenix 8 Pro offers adventurers the convenience of satellite SOS and basic messaging directly from their wrist, the dedicated inReach handhelds\u2014as shown with this latest Mini 3 Plus launch\u2014remain vastly superior in battery life and communications features.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The key choice, as before, is whether you want to trade in some of that capability for a different form factor.
