We\u2019ve known for a while now that\u00a0The Boys<\/a>\u00a0was calling it quits after season five, it was just a matter of waiting for the end. Well, wait no longer: the final season of Prime Video\u2019s<\/a> hit show will begin on April 8, 2026.<\/p>\n

Creator Eric Kripke and some of the cast flew to Brazil for CCXP, where they presented a fresh trailer showing what\u2019s to come in our last time with Huey, Butcher, and evreyone else. Last season ended with Hughie, Mother\u2019s Milk, and Frenchie going to jail, Annie trying to start a resistance, and Kimiko off the grid. Once they\u2019re all reunited by Butcher, it\u2019s time to finally bring down newly elected president Homelander.<\/p>\n

As the Supe-in-Chief intones, a \u201creckoning\u201d is coming, and we see some of the obstacles our \u201cgood\u201d guys will be up against, including Homelander\u2019s son Ryan, a newly unfrozen Soldier Boy, and Jared Padalecki\u2019s<\/a> playboy-looking character. But the Boys aren\u2019t giving up, not that Butcher will let \u2019em: he\u2019s ready to \u201cdrag their broken, fucking carcasses over the finish\u201d if it means killing Homelander. And this being the show it is, there\u2019s gonna be some bodies<\/a> dropped along the way, including whoever ol\u2019 Homes is beating to a pulp.<\/p>\n

The final season of The Boys\u00a0will start with two episodes on April 8, followed by weekly episodes until the series finale on May 20. Things aren\u2019t stopping there: a new season of\u00a0Gen V<\/a> may still be in the cards, and\u00a0the prequel series Vought Rising<\/a>\u00a0centered on Soldier Boy and Stormfront should come sometime soon.<\/p>\n
