David Del Rio unexpectedly returned to Instagram to share a family holiday photo after he was fired from \u201cMatlock\u201d <\/a>due to sexual assault allegations.<\/p>\n

The actor took to his Stories Saturday to post a photo of himself alongside his wife,\u00a0Katherine Del Rio, and their daughters, Lilliam Kellie Wallace, 2, and Coco, 11 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cBelated Thanksgiving fun! Deeply thankful for my family \u2014 who always show up for the girls and I,\u201d he captioned the photo.<\/p>\n

David, 38, appeared in good spirits for the family photo, which showed the family of four posing with an inflatable gingerbread man.<\/p>\n

He has shied away from posting on social media since he was let go from the CBS series in October when his co-star Leah Lewis, 28, accused him of sexual assault.<\/p>\n

At the time, the network confirmed to Page Six that the \u201cPitch Perfect\u201d star \u201cdeparted the series\u201d but didn\u2019t include further details.<\/p>\n

According to Deadline, CBS conducted an internal investigation before he was let go.<\/p>\n

David portrays Billy Martinez in the series, and his character will be written off the show when the cast returns to complete the second half of Season 2. <\/p>\n

The first half of the season was released on Oct. 12 and ran for seven episodes until Dec. 4.<\/p>\n

Insiders told the outlet that the alleged misconduct between David and Lewis, who portrays Sarah Franklin, occurred on Paramount premises on Sept. 26.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the news made headlines, Lewis told her fans<\/a> she was \u201cmoving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMom is here, we\u2019re moving forward in love and strength. I\u2019m in good hands,\u201d she wrote via social media with a snap of her mom. \u201cThank you to everybody for any kind of support and care.\u201d<\/p>\n

While David has yet to respond to the allegations, his wife has publicly called out the actress <\/a>by taking a photo of the latter and resharing it on her Instagram Stories.<\/p>\n
