U.S. president Donald Trump hosted the Kennedy Center Honors award show last night, and gave us MMA fans a little glimpse into what he knows about the size and scale of the UFC White House<\/a> card set for June of next year.<\/p>\n

Trump and UFC CEO Dana White have teased the biggest event in the history of the promotion, but how big will it really be? Knowing the way UFC has stacked cards under the watchful eye of TKO\u2019s bean-counters, would they really put multiple superstars like Conor McGregor<\/a> and Jon Jones<\/a> on the same card with a limited gate?<\/p>\n

According to President Trump, it\u2019s gonna be legends and champions across the board.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe UFC on June 14th, it\u2019s gonna be June 14th next year,\u201d Trump told the press. \u201cAnd they\u2019re building an arena. The great Dana White\u2019s building an arena. And they\u2019re gonna have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights they\u2019ve ever had. Every one\u2019s a championship fight. And every one\u2019s a legendary type of fight. He\u2019s actually holding back fights right now for six months so he can do it for this June 15th.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think June 15th is gonna be amazing,\u201d he continued. \u201cI think the arena\u2019s gonna be five or six thousand seats right in front of the front door of the White House, and a hundred thousand people in the back where they\u2019re putting up eight or ten big screens. That\u2019s gonna be exciting. So many people are asking for tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n

The UFC has 12 champions (including the BMF),<\/a> so having eight or nine champions fighting on the card would leave them with very little to work with in the surrounding months. And if they\u2019re all championship fights, what about Conor McGregor,<\/a> who currently holds no belt, fighting on the card?<\/p>\n

Maybe some of the specifics aren\u2019t quite right here, but it certainly points towards the White House card being the most stacked card in the history of the company.
