Aging rock icon Rod Stewart is all work and no play these days, and insiders say it\u2019s getting old for long-suffering wife Penny Lancaster, who\u2019s missing the good ol\u2019 days and is wondering what\u2019s happened to his legendary mojo.<\/p>\n

The 80-year-old \u201cDo Ya Think I\u2019m Sexy?\u201d crooner was once known as much for his sex-capades as his string of hit tunes. He\u2019s fathered eight kids with three wives and two galpals.<\/p>\n

But sources say the \u201cHot Legs\u201d singer is now consumed by his upcoming One Last Time Tour in the U.S. running from March 13 to Aug. 15 and brags he\u2019s also working on \u201ca country album, and I\u2019m halfway through doing an original album.\u201d<\/p>\n

That seems to be leaving wife Penny, 54, mom of his sons Alistair, 19, and Aiden, 14, alone in the bedroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cPenny feels like she barely recognizes him,\u201d says an insider. \u201cHe used to be so full of energy \u2014 he worked hard but he had plenty left in the tank for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut these days she can hardly get him to pay attention to her long enough to enjoy a proper night out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey used to take off on little trips at the drop of a hat, and their date nights were a huge part of what kept them close. But lately he\u2019s either working or resting.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMaggie May\u201d singer was full of fun at age 62 when they wed in 2007, but now 18 years later, the insider says: \u201cRehearsing and doing his shows take so much out of him. When he\u2019s not \u2018on,\u2019 so to speak, he\u2019s practically laid out flat on his back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPenny feels like the public and the fans and even his friends get one version of Rod and she gets another, and she\u2019s starting to complain.\u201d<\/p>\n

The legendary lothario is worth an estimated $300 million, so it\u2019s not like he needs the bucks.<\/p>\n

\u201cPenny doesn\u2019t understand why he pushes himself so hard to work and to entertain at the expense of their private life,\u201d says the source. \u201cShe\u2019s saying it feels like he\u2019s married to his career instead of her.\u201d<\/p>\n
