\n\tOn the heels of the first trailer drop<\/a> for the hotly anticipated fifth and final season of The Boys<\/a> at CCXP over the weekend, Sony Pictures<\/a> Virtual Reality<\/a> and Brazilian game studio Arvore have announced the first official The Boys VR game experience, developed with the series\u2019 creators, to launch in 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\tFans of the diabolical franchise can step inside the debauchery-filled universe through The Boys: Trigger Warning, which will feature original cast members \u2014 Laz Alonso (Mother\u2019s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett) and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke) \u2014 reprising their roles. Last season\u2019s newcomer, Jensen Ackles, will also appear as a \u201ctwisted interpretation\u201d of his character Soldier Boy (Jeez, how much more twisted can the guy get?), exclusively for the game.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe stealth-action VR game aims to put players \u201con the front lines of the war against Supes,\u201d akin to the vigilante namesake group in the series, led by Karl Urban\u2019s Billy Butcher. The Boys: Trigger Warning\u00a0introduces an original character who accidentally uncovers a grotesque Vought secret that turns a family outing into carnage. Forced to become a Supe, the player joins The Boys to infiltrate Vought and take revenge in the most chaotic way possible. The game will blend stealth and combat with the series\u2019 irreverent dark humor. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFrom day one, we wanted to build an adaptation hand-in-hand with the people who defined this universe,\u201d Ricardo Justus, founder and head of studio at Arvore, said in a statement. \u201cWorking with the show\u2019s writers and cast allowed us to bring the edge, humor, and brutality that made the series iconic, delivered with the spark of magic only Arvore can create.\u201d<\/p>\n
