It detects approaching traffic, both cars and cyclists, long before they reach you. When an object is detected, the light automatically switches to a stronger, disruptive flash pattern, increasing your visibility. At the same time, you receive real-time alerts on your bike computer or smartphone, or via the built-in speaker when riding without paired devices.

These “eyes in your back” offer valuable protection in busy urban environments as well as on international rides where drivers may be less accustomed to cyclists.

Connect, detect, protect

Thanks to ANT+ and Bluetooth, the Signal Radar connects to modern bike computers and smartphones. To ensure smooth smartphone operation, BBB Cycling developed an app together with Cannondale that simplifies connecting and using the Radar. The integrated speaker enables standalone operation, ensuring users receive audible alerts even without a connected device.

With an 80-lumen daylight flash, dedicated car warning light, and six operating modes, the Signal Radar ensures visibility in any condition. Battery life extends up to 14 hours, providing reliable safety on long rides and varying terrain. BBB says the light weighs 78 grams.

A new standard within the Signal Series

For years, BBB Cycling’s Signal rear lights have been known for their ease of use and dependable visibility.
