Ontario Premier Doug Ford says Prince Harry was \u201ca real gentleman\u201d when the two met last week and he found the prince \u201cso down to earth.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ford confirmed Tuesday he dined with royalty following a realtors conference in Toronto where Prince Harry was a guest speaker.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was here, and it was nice to meet him,\u201d Ford told reporters at Queen\u2019s Park when asked about the dinner. <\/p>\n
Harry was touted as a key speaker closing out the Ontario Real Estate Association\u2019s (OREA) Power House Conference Dec. 1. <\/p>\n
Other speakers at the conference included Ford, NDP Leader Marit Stiles and former premier Kathleen Wynne. <\/p>\n
Media were not allowed to attend the conference for coverage. While OREA posted dozens of photos from the event on their website, there were none of Harry. <\/p>\n
There were reports last week, however, that the premier was spotted with the prince at high-end sushi restaurant Nobu in the city\u2019s Entertainment District following the conference. <\/p>\n
When asked what he and Harry discussed, Ford simply said \u201cnothing.\u201d<\/p>\n
He was similarly coy when asked what they ate, simply saying \u201cfast food is my favourite restaurant.\u201d <\/p>\n
