The Denver Broncos<\/a> are 11-2 and have won 10 games in a row. Their two losses this season are by a combined four points. Yet, the team is getting little respect in terms of being a serious Super Bowl contender.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Broncos had moved all the way up to No. 2 in the power rankings done weekly by Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News<\/a>, but despite a 24-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> on Sunday, they dropped two spots. In his most recent rankings, the Broncos dropped two spots to No. 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The\u00a0Broncos\u00a0didn’t need to do much to take down the lifeless Raiders coming off a Week 13 marathon at Washington. Bo Nix was in full control of the game without a comeback for a change”, wrote Iyer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yes, the win this past Sunday came against the lowly Raiders, but the Broncos could be undefeated right now if it weren’t for some late-game gaffes in Weeks 2 and 3. Still, it seems as though doubters of the team are just looking at the Broncos as though they are completely overrated and have a subpar quarterback in Bo Nix.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In reality, Nix has played well this season, particularly when he has needed to in late-game situations and instead of looking at all of the Broncos’ narrow wins as a negative, it should instead be a huge positive.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Broncos face Green Bay in a massive Week 15 game<\/p>\n

Perhaps the biggest game in Week 15 pits the Broncos against the Green Bay Packers<\/a> in a potential Super Bowl preview. The Packers are one of the three teams ranked above the Broncos on Iyer’s list and will present a stiff challenge to them on Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Broncos have yet to lose at home this season and a win over the hot Packers should go a long way in changing the way people look at this team. The Packers opened as road favorites<\/a> to win the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Broncos may need to go all the way to the Super Bowl before they get any believers on a national scale this year, but a win over the Packers, which would mark their 11th in a row, would be tough to ignore.\u00a0<\/p>\n
