Google says it will also \u201csoon be adding the ability to answer and end calls\u201d using a double pinch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Wrist turn also sounds similar to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/683436\/watchos-26-adds-a-new-wrist-flick-gesture-to-quickly-dismiss-notifications\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">wrist flick gesture<\/a> introduced to the Apple Watch with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/777319\/apple-watchos-26-available-update-download\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">watchOS 26 last September<\/a>. Quickly turning your wrist away from you and back can silence incoming calls or dismiss a notification on the Pixel Watch 4. To make them easier to learn, wearOS will display onscreen hints so you know exactly when these gestures can be used.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Smart replies are being improved with the introduction of a new custom on-device language model based on Google\u2019s Gemma. It generates a list of suggested responses based on the context of a chat without relying on a connection to your phone, and Google says it\u2019s now twice as fast and utilizes one-third as much memory as the model smart replies previously used.
