Mikel Arteta has done an incredible job at Arsenal.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard was appointed as Unai Emery\u2019s<\/a> successor in December 2019, and he inherited a really poor squad with many players who were not good enough.<\/p>\n

Arteta won the FA Cup in his debut season, and since then, he has transformed Arsenal into one of the best teams in the world. <\/p>\n

Soon, Arteta could do something that has never been done before in the Premier League<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Max Dowman could help Mikel Arteta set an unprecedented Premier League record<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta<\/a> has put a lot of faith in youth over the years.<\/p>\n

Yes, players like Omari Hutchinson, Reuell Walters, Chido Obi Martin<\/a> and Ayden Heaven have all departed because they couldn\u2019t get opportunities, but many others have been given a chance.<\/p>\n

Bukayo Saka<\/a> had already made his debut when Arteta arrived, but the Englishman became the superstar he is today under the Spaniard.<\/p>\n

Myles Lewis-Skelly<\/a> and Ethan Nwaneri<\/a> have become regulars now as well, despite being just 18. <\/p>\n

The latter was actually given an opportunity when he was 15, thus becoming the youngest player to make an appearance in the history of the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Arteta now has Max Dowman<\/a> coming through the ranks and impressing in friendlies. He is expected by many to make his senior debut in the upcoming campaign. <\/p>\n

If that happens, Arteta will become the first manager in Premier League history to hand debuts to two 15-year-old players.<\/p>\n

Not even Sir Alex Ferguson<\/a>, Arsene Wenger<\/a>, Jose Mourinho<\/a> and Pep Guardiola<\/a> have done that in the Premier League before.<\/p>\n

Nwaneri got his record-breaking opportunity off the bench during Arsenal\u2019s<\/a> win over Brentford in the Premier League back in 2022.<\/p>\n

The youngster was 15 years, five months and 28 days when he got that opportunity, and he beat Harvey Elliot\u2019s record at the time. <\/p>\n

Dowman is 15 as well, but will he break Nwaneri\u2019s record if he gets to make his debut against Manchester United in Arsenal\u2019s opening game<\/a> of the new season?<\/p>\n

The answer is no.<\/p>\n

Dowman is already older than Nwaneri was when he made his Arsenal debut in 2022.
