The Alien and Avatar star will play a character named Wallace, according to a video report by Deadline Hollywood and <a class=\"hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DSIsq53kvxK\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared<\/a> on Meta Platforms-owned social media website Instagram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-content\">&#8220;Yeah, I&#8217;m going to be in Tomb Raider with the great Phoebe Waller-Bridge writing and producing. I&#8217;ve very excited, the scripts are incredible, and very funny, very charming, very witty, as we&#8217;ve come to expect from Ms. Waller-Bridge. I&#8217;ve always been a huge fan of hers, so I&#8217;m delighted,&#8221; Weaver told Deadline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-content\">Amazon MGM Studios and Crystal Dynamics previously announced their plans to develop a live-action Tomb Raider series. The project is executive produced by Crystal Dynamics, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Jenny Robins through Wells Street Productions; Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg, and Timothy I.
