The two nearly came to blows as they stared down at each other on stage.<\/p>\n<p>Chisora Seeks Wilder For 50th Fight<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/01jqj19c2weqhagsc2b9.jpg\" alt=\"Derek Chisora\" title=\"Derek Chisora\" width=\"2803\" height=\"1576\" class=\"undefined w-full w-full blur-[5px]\" q:id=\"50\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Derek Chisora | IMAGO \/ PA Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"54\">The two veterans sized each other up in Dubai as part of the media events for the WBA \u201cregular\u201d heavyweight title fight that the IBA is promoting this week, a match between Kubrat Pulev and Murat Gassiev.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"57\">Chisora screamed, \u201cThat\u2019s the 50th fight right there!\u201d as the cameras rolled.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5a\">Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) and Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) can sell tickets. British-Zimbabwean contender Derek Chisora has a bit of a cult following in the United Kingdom, while Wilder was the last American heavyweight to really have a bit of following among not just casual boxing fans but also casual sports fans in the United States. Wilder, now 39, returned in June and earned a win over unheralded Tyrrell Herndon.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5d\">Meanwhile, the 41-year-old Chisora won a split decision over Kubrat Pulev on July 9th, 2022, capturing the WBA International heavyweight title.
