Noah Weiland<\/a>, the son of late Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland<\/a>, posted a couple of worrying messages on his Instagram Stories on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Roughly a week after performing a tribute concert<\/a> honoring his dad on the 10th anniversary of the rock legend\u2019s passing, Noah posted three messages on his Instagram stories. The first one reads, \u201cThank you everybody. Til next time,\u201d eerily set to Green Day\u2019s \u201cLast Night on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second one questions how much money he made from the aforementioned gig: \u201cI made 10k the other night at that show. My cut was not that much over a thousand $. Split between me and 3 other band members, does that make any sense mathematically? Anyways, Thank you for all your support everybody. NOAH WEILAND \u2013 OUT.\u201d<\/p>\n

The third message is the most concerning, with Noah writing, \u201cI\u2019d rather be dead\u2026 then [sic] live the same way my father did. Regardless of all this, it\u2019s been a long journey. Can\u2019t wait to see him again, and thank you for all the support along the way. Won\u2019t ever forget this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noah has been open about his own battle with addiction<\/a>. While the messages on his Instagram Stories are alarming, he did share a positive post on his Instagram feed a few days ago, writing: \u201cLove u dad, so blessed & grateful \u2026 so the plan is: drop my mixtape \u2018crashout junkie\u2019 next week (with some music vids), get ready for tour in January (multiple states & countries) & lock in on AA again. Let me know what states \/ countries y\u2019all are from & whichever gets the most likes, we\u2019ll tour there ;).\u201d<\/p>\n

Scott Weiland died at the age of 48 from an accidental drug overdose on December 3rd, 2015.<\/p>\n
