Charlie Puth<\/a> is calling out Elon Musk<\/a> over the volume of his rocket launches near the “Attention” singer’s community in Santa Barbara, Calif.\n<\/p>\n On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Puth, 34, posted a note to the SpaceX founder on X<\/a>, writing, “Hi @elonmusk<\/a> \u2026these sonic booms have gotten progressively louder since they started launching the rockets in Santa Barbara.”\n<\/p>\n He continued, “This one at 3am today felt like 150-160 dB, violently shook our whole house, and really frightened my pregnant wife. I hope they do not get louder :\/.”\n<\/p>\n Musk, 54, has not responded, but the official SpaceX<\/a> website did warn that some areas of Santa Barbara may have heard sonic booms due to a launch on Dec. 10.\n<\/p>\n Charlie Puth and Brooke Sansone in the “Changes” music video.<\/p>\n Charlie Puth\/Youtube<\/p>\n “On Wednesday, December 10 at 3:40 a.m. PT, Falcon 9 launched 27 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California,” the statement began.\n<\/p>\n “This was the 18th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched USSF-62, OneWeb Launch 20, NROL-145, and now 15 Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which was stationed in the Pacific Ocean.”\n<\/p>\n Space X’s statement concluded, “There was a possibility that residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties may have heard one or more sonic booms during the launch, but what residents experienced depended on weather and other conditions.”\n<\/p>\n Puth and his wife, Brooke Sansone<\/a>, announced they are expecting their first child<\/a> in the music video<\/a>\u00a0for his song, “Changes,” which was released on Oct. 16. In the video, Brooke, 26, and the singer stand together smiling with their hands on her stomach.\n<\/p>\n In an\u00a0Instagram post on Oct. 8<\/a>, Puth explained that he was excited about his new song because it would be the “perfect way to bring all of you into the most beautiful, colorful part of my life, which happens to be right now. You will soon know why…”\n<\/p>\n The artist later opened up about impending fatherhood during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/a>. During the episode he told the host, “We\u2019re expecting a baby in March. I\u2019m gonna be a dad. He announced the news on Instagram on Nov. 30.\n<\/p>\n “I can’t believe I\u2019m saying this\u2026 I will be performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LX,” he captioned the video, which included an explanation on why the anthem is such a tricky song to sing.\n<\/p>\n While he faced some backlash<\/a> after it was announced that he was this year’s performer, Puth promised he would give it his all. I\u2019ll never claim to be as good of a singer as Whitney Houston ever was,\u201d Puth\u00a0said on\u00a0X<\/a>. \u201cBut I assure you we\u2019re putting a really special arrangement together \u2014 in D major. It\u2019ll be one of my best vocal performances.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
